If the failure mode is the same then this will be the culprit.

Scotland 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Sumatra Black

Car was serviced today. Mentioned that I had bad breaks in cold. The agent said that he had also had poor breaks and the car checked out OK. Not sure if its a problem but I will be on guard if cold in mornings!

My only fault was no bulb found in trunk ligt! No wonder it never came on!

Here is to the next 12 months!
