Wales 2013 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Orkney Grey
Off Roading Tracks In South Wales.

Any body know of any suitable tacks which are non damaging for a Freelnder 2. Getting bored with the same old places i'm going. Tracks/Greenlaning. Can't belive the amount of Freelander 2s about compared with 12 Month ago. Passed five in Cowbridge Main Street yesterday.

Firstly i'd suggest you consider joining CRAG or GLASS, whilst they are useless at protecting our rights in the counrtyside they are a useful source of info on lanes.

Have you considered going to Strata Florida or surrounding areas, plenty of lanes, fantastic fun and most are accesible to all vehicles. I appear to be addicted to Landrovers...

TD5 D-Lander hopefully finished soon!
FL2....this year with any luck!

Its mid wales, there are very few im aware of in south wales but plenty in the middle. Google will show you plenty of videos.

BEWARE - whilst the strata is probably the most famous, and most driven lane in wales its incredibly dangerous if you dont take care, the strata florida has many river crossings, in summer these are a tricle, most of the year these are no problem at all at after heavy rainfall it becomes dangerous, you could easily be washed away, overturned or worse - several have come a cropper through sillyness. Dont be put off though, its a fantastic lane and many thousands have driven it without problem, myself ive done it 3 times as a single vehicle (bad idea but hey ho). I appear to be addicted to Landrovers...
