2 Service Messages @ Startup

Hoping I can get a quickie answer to this as I can't find my owners manual at the moment. When I start the car, I get the 2 following service messages - can somebody tell me what they mean - the first one seems to say I'm 150 miles overdue for a service but not sure about the 2nd?

Oh, and mileage is about 13k so I'm not due for my 15k service yet

Thanks & still haven't installed the Blackberry BT audio properly although I did just use it on a round trip from Chicago to Cincinnati and I can't tell the different between using the wired connection and BT.

the car knows mileage and date services are due so do the math andvthe 117 display has a clock in it which I presume would mean hours etc Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Thanks guys, the car will be going in this week then - seems the 600 mile round trip this week put it over.

Dust = a consequence of public parking... and laziness Whistle

You always get both messages: miles to go to service and days to go to service - you are due at whichever goes to zero first. Other posts are right, you are (150 miles) overdue since its gone negative.

Service will reset both counters from the date and mileage when the service is done and you are off again.

LR seem pretty sensible but if you want a watertight warranty, don't go beyond 500 miles over (that's what I was told). Gone... 2013 XS TD4 Manual Firenze Red

I think technically you have 1000 miles leway with all manufacturers for the service interval but of course the closer the better. I appear to be addicted to Landrovers...

TD5 D-Lander hopefully finished soon!
FL2....this year with any luck!

Your service is due whichever comes first. If you have -150 miles, it means you are 150 miles overdue from your service and if you have the little clock and 117 means that you are 117 days from your service. 2008 Freelander 2 Td4 HSE Buckingham Blue
