No not far from the off track train, about 50 miles away.

As for purgatory, the Highlands might be okay in the summer ignoring midgies, the cold, the rain, visitors clogging up the roads, but not the winter, not much differnce between seasons really. We have been down to minus 15 degrees C this week. Thats no fun. I look at Cornwall, Norfolk and like places and see temperatures a zero. That would be like T Shirt and sun bed weather. There is also a lot more to do. Looking at the sea with a 3,000 foot hill is fine, but ..... I suppose its like everything else, you take for granted what you have and yearn for what you haven't.

Hey, I'd do a house swap anytime. You can have my kerosene bill.

It's 10C outside at mo, but you wouldn't like it here. Just reloaded the fire.

It's damp. The chickens are unhappy, the dogs are sleeping and the cats are all indoors.

The FL2 is is pining for snow.

Now come the Spring you might want to swap Thumbs Up 09 HSE Auto Lago Grey/Almond Napoli. Privacy glass.

You are more than welcome to have ours, come and take as much as you want. It has just stopped for a while but has snowed constantly for the last five hours, mind you Ithink the likes of Npinks and Mcphersonstrut will be happy for you to take the dusting they've had. I'd take 10 degrees and damp no problem! What do you think it's doing here when it's not snowing. I can't remember a dry fine day except on a postcard. Suppose I was spoilt with my time in the US. Apart from an odd deluge, we got sun and 30 degrees. Then I come home to this. Note to self, apply for the job in Dubai. At least I'd get to use the sand setting on the TC.

Have to say we don't normally get snow before January, so when we do, you know it's going to be a crap winter.

Leeds looked bad on the TV, but then I daresay they deserved it. Thing is, give it a few days and it will disappear. We've been thinking the grass is actually coloured white and permafrost is normal. Someone I know is getting burried tomorrow, that will be intersting for the JCB. Might have to call in BP to drill the 6' or revert to cremation. At least we'd get warm.

Hi, it's got milder or is it just me? One for CG. An undercover reporter photos a child labourer on CG's farm. She had asked for a hat to protect herself from the snow and cold, but got this instead............
