2009 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Zermatt Silver

I found exactly the same when buying an 09 GS. I ended up at Preston main dealer who was cheaper than car supermarkets. Yes I had to travel 200 miles but I ended up with an 09 GS 8,000 miles for £18250 with some new side steps thrown in.
Shop around alot, I used Land Rover approved web site. I was a week from month end and was able to collect before the end of the month, that can help abit. The listed price means very little if the dealer needs to clear some stock, be cheaky and offer a couple of grand less, especially if you have found similar at less money even if it is not the colour(etc) that you want.
My local dealer was offering me 57 GS for £19k with 20,000 plus on the clock.

Used prices have soared despite people saying the motor trade is in the Censored .

When I bought mine on the forecourt were several fl2 gs with 3000 miles on the clock (ex demo) 6 months old for 17k - i nearly bough one. You wont see that now. Shocked

Mind you a new gs was 21k you wont see that either !

In all fairness the new gs has a far higher spec than what the original had. I think the rrp was for a 2008 gs new was 23k at the time. However half way through the year the recession kicked in properly and I dont think anybody really knew where the 4x4 market was going. Rolling Eyes But bad publicity at the time didnt help, talk of high tax for them and talk of getting them off the road in citys I supppose people thought they were buying a dead horse. Obviously we all know it was B:censoredhit: just bad propaganda from our friendly/understanding government.

Buying Secondhand

A really nice HST in black with an 09 plate has just ended on eBay with no bids. Start price £22000. Thumbs Up

The moter had all the extras including DVD screens in headrests. Looked a very nice car with plenty of warranty to go and I would guess some £5000 plus under the norm forecourt price.
Seller might re-list - anybody interested - item number as originally listed eBay Item No. 270507786174.

Just for the record - I have no interest in this listing
