This is a very well known issue with the Discovery 3, definitely a warranty job. Jeez, I hope it doesn't happen on my FL2, as it did on my Disco3! |

Not sure if i have the same problem, not so much sticky, but noticeable wear of the leather on the steering wheel at 12 and 3 o'clock positions (admittedly the same locations i tend to hold the wheel with my right hand, but with only 20k on the clock, i would not expect this level of wear?

I have a new one too since 5 month (warranty). It was sticky on both sides. The new one has another leather quality and looks much better.

Cheers Roverland - very similar to how my wheel is looking - a call to the dealers i believe.

Quick update on this. The car was in today to have the steering wheel replaced under warranty for premature wear and 'sticky' feeling.
