Not a light but a symbol in the Tachometer Indicator Panel. However I have not noticed that because I am reading the Main Mesage Centre display that says something when starting in cold weather. Cant remember what is says now Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc. |

There have been a few instances of the glow plug relay failing, symptoms are no glow plug indicator illumination and extended cranking with uneven idle upon starting. replacement of the relay takes about 5 mins. Note that the glow plugs do not operate every time the engine is started but certainly should below 0 degrees Celcius with a cold engine, can't remember what the upper limit is but I think it's somewhere around 2 - 4 degrees. |

My car's glow plug light always displays for around 2 - 3 seconds, when the temmperature is zero or below. It takes one or two more cranks than usual before it starts and has a lumpy start when it's very cold, the idle is uneven for the first few seconds and then it evens out. It's always done than in the winter. Is that normal?? |
