2nd Service Cost

Anyone had their Freelander serviced recently? What price did you pay? Land Rover seem to charge around the £400 mark. Stornaway grey SE auto with 18" alloys

I used Guy Salmon Land Rover in Knutsford for the second service and they did it for £250 all in (including courtesy car - not an LR though) once I pointed out that their web site stated that they would price match any independent garage within a 20 mile radius Thumbs Up

They had originally quoted just over £400 for the job!

Here's the link to the offer:

I was going to use LRC in Congleton for the service as I was very happy with their service before when fixing some towbar issues but thought I might as well get an LR stamp in the book for the same cost. GONE - 2011/11 Freelander 2 SD4 XS Auto

commando, I paid £350 at the end of April this year. I did ask what price they could do it for and told them I was phoning around.

Can do it for a LOT less than that - no loss of warranty either Cool obviously to LR spec and genuine parts too
Oh, forgot to add, I come to you - weekdays or weekends, whatever suits, including your works carpark or driveway Thumbs Up

Ah humour, I remember that......typical farmer, more money than sense. Just thought it might be attractive to 10forcash to do a few cars at once, towbar or no towbar, if you don't like towbars I'm happy to stay away.
Haven't you got anything better to do than criticising other peoples choice of holiday? We 'caravaners' contribute to the UK tourist industry instead of poluting the world by travelling by air.
Anyway....you need to change your avatar our thoughts are always with the soldiers but it's not good practice to wear a poppy the day after 11th November and onwards.

Not with climate control, air suspension seat, electric clutchless gearbox , bluetooth and a radio you can actually hear though Laughing oh and plenty of elbow room too Thumbs Up

A few times we have had 'townies' round to visit so I let them play on the tractors and diggers, its amusing to watch grown up somewhat sceptical people turn into little children playing with toys once they try it. At work
