A While ago I saw a FL2 tyre Pressure Sensor on eBay which has got me thinking, firstly that wasn't on my options list, so i guess it might be on one of the over the pond list or something, secondly retro fitting a OEM will be impossible/expensive

Does anybody have a aftermarket setup that they can recommend

Thinking one that can check 4x car wheels 2 x caravan wheels for when i am towing and that can be checked on the move Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Which pond were you thinking of Just in case you were thinking of our pond - no we dont have them as a option or after market thank goodness  2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.

Not sure how LR sensor work but VW's work through the ABS sensor (measure the rotating wheel) and is very good because there's nothing extra fitted inside the wheel

LR use a sensor in each wheel. Maybe the wheels spinning more whilst off road would confuse an ABS based system? At work

your very possible right, but it can work's so well it can tell when theres 2 psi difference.

Need to check but i'm fairly sure I can fit & enable the LR TPMS - the mounting points are there in the plastics, if the wiring and the blanking caps are there....

I’ve got a set of 19 inch wheels and tyres which are fitted with TPMS valves (TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM) they operate on radio frequency 433MHz.

The clue is in the spelling of tyre. The system is explained in the 2010MY USA manual and does not feature in the UK manuals. When you read the manual there is a lot of fuss so I’ll be sticking with the odd pressure check now and again.
