Best place to get to new passanger side mirror

I got back to car after some shopping and the mirror assembly has been smasehed off where it pivots around. I imagine it will need a whole new assembly.

How much will it be? Part no. anyone?

Ill try calling Nick at Yeovil and fleabay. Any other ideas?

I had a similar problem, you will need to replace the whole unit. The part number differs depending on which model you have, for example whether or not you have 'puddle lights'.

I bought mine from Nick, from memory it cost about £150. I fitted it myself but you need to remove the panel on the inside of the front door. Lots of plastic clips and hidden screws!

Cheers John.

The mirror assembly has a puddle lamp but its not active so I assume I can get the cheaper model - assuming the one without puddle is cheaper.

If you can say pretty certainly it was £150 that gives me a good negotiation point for my service dealer. Its getting serviced on Wednesday so will prob try get them to supply and fit as cheap as possible.

Hi Scott

I have checked back through my accounts and found that it cost £114 which included a modest discount for being a member of this forum!

There is an earlier thread on this subject which includes a detailed LR procedure (kindly posted by chris8of9) for removing all the door furniture and fitting the mirror.

You can find it under Maintenance & Modifications, 15 Oct 2008 posted by Retired, headed Help and advise please.

Best of luck

John
