Just back from a 2000 mile trip to France towing my caravan with my FL2. I have now had the car 8 weeks and have 3600miles on the clock. The car was absolutely fabulous on holiday ( far more comfortable than my 2 previous FL1 TD4s). I have posted a few pics in the gallery.

The Satnav is very good, with excellent coverage of minor roads in France,(as good, if not better than my MIO 269).

After 3600 miles my average consumption is 25.5 mpg. (Most of my journeys at home are urban, less than 10 miles.) It was 28mpg before the trip to France, but I had to tow at 65mph+ for approx 300 miles to catch the Hull ferry after traffic problems in Glasgow, which I think caused my consumption to increase a bit!

So far, the car has been faultless. I just wish that LR would hurry up and release roof bars for FL2s with sunroofs!

I have towed caravans for 30 years and the FL2 is IMHO the best towcar I've had.I managed between 20 and 25 mpg towing through massif central Rhone alps and Haut provence down to Arles and managed to use 6th gear most of the time .
