HOW MUCH IS A FREEL2 IN YOUR COUNTRY ???

Hi all ... Very Happy

I gathered that the mighty 4x4 has travelled from the wonderful and exotic Midlands' plants ... to Russia.. to da Auz .. le States..... South Afrika.... Cyprus ... ! Seems such a global choice and to think that it just saw the roads for less than a year.

Now let's hear it out. ... "how much" ... either in Euro (lets say) or any other currency, has this baby set you back for making the dream come true.

Kisses! Thumbs Up FREEL-2-LOOPY

Germany 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Stornoway Grey
Price of Freely II in Germany

Hi Michalis
although the question is accademic, as we have always to pay the local price, here the prices in Germany incl. VAT plus EUR 850,00 delivery charges:
TD 4 E (Basic Model without terrain response system) EUR 30.900,00
TD 4 S (in my opinion the best value for price - incl. terrain response) EUR 34.300,00. At this price you have to carefully composition your car, and you can save more than EUR 2.000 with nearly equal trim over the SE.
TD 4 SE (mostly better audio system - which nobody rearly needs, as the basic audio is ok) EUR 37.500,00
TD 4 HSE highest line in Germany with nearly everything included, except important things such as heated front seats (especially with leather seats), automatic dimming inside mirror, side protecting moulds etc. - EURO 40.500,00.
I have great problems to understand the price structure of Landrover. The SE and HSE versions have mainly better audio (plus leather and bi-xenon for the HSE), but even the navigation is extra at an exorbitant price. If you choose to buy, for example, the Tom-Tom GO 910 with nearly the same "can do's" incl. bluetooth and hands free phoning as the LR-system at a price of EUR 399,00 in Germany incl. VAT, you save nearly EUR 1.600 over the LR-price. And you can take out the TomTom with much lesser risks of being stolen.

So when configurating your car -here the Freely II - use your brain and (try to be) pragmatic in your judgement of what you really need, what are the "nice to have's", and what you have to buy what you never need if you choose the LR-options.

I'm Censored off to find out that the base version E costs more in Holland than our German friends pay for top-spec HSE..... But not surprised. we get ripped off by our government with 25% luxury tax on new cars.

Oh my god..... looks like you are paying DOUBLE what the Mexicans are.

I need to repeat this to a couple of times to believe it... they get 2 cars for that money you pay.

I will never live in Malta in my life!

It seems that everybody else is subsidising the weak dollar.

I guess that includes i6 and auto.

£20295 for a fully loade fl2. I'll have one!!

Malta

I know it is a bit difficult to belive Malta prices, but this is the reality over here. 1 Malta lira is 2.28 Euro. If you change the prices to Malta Lira you will get the same price as the UK sterling but in Malta Lira.

The price for a RRS HSE TDV6 is 45,000 Malta Lira ( in UK list at 47,700 on LR site) change it to Euros 102,600 Big Cry
