MOT’d my car (2010, HSE Manual) and it passed no bother. The mechanic who drove the car to the test centre queried if I’d experienced any issues with the clutch. I’m getting the occasional slip on quick acceleration & he agreed it’s on the way out. Gave a rough quote based on a recent job he did of £1200.

But if I get 12 months out of that, it still works out cheaper than replacing it. Plus I bloody love it!

Not even got into the Haldex mind. I hear nothing, until I finish a night shift & it sounds like I’m driving a Formula E car first thing in the morning :haha:

Update I've got her booked into Prestige Land Rover in Paisley. Guys are very good there, they said back diff is an easy repair that's £450. . He said he will strip the gearbox and replace all bearings and seals. That's an 8 hour job in itself so once its done its done.
I told him what the other garages said. ,he said typical and that's nit even looking at the vehicle
