Front Anti-Roll Bar Bush Replacement

Just about to replace the front anti-roll bar bushes on my 2010 Freelander 2. I see the bolts that hold the U-Clamps in place also hold the wishbone.

Are there any pitfalls/tips for what should be a simple job? Freelander 2 TD4 HSE 2010

I had to change the wishbones earlier this summer, so did the anti-roll bar bushes at the same time. The wishbone replacement was fun - but the ARB bushes were really straightforward. Access to the nuts is awkward, but possible. Worth cleaning the threads with a wire brush, use lots of releasing fluid and take your time to avoid damaging the threads while removing. Fortunately they're quite well projected so corrosion is unlikely to be as bad as some other areas of these venerable vehicles... I replaced all of the nuts & bolts on the wishbones & ARB brackets - though the original ARB bolts could have been re-used.

Good Luck & enjoy! Very Happy

Thank you. I was just a bit wary of the ARB brackets being held on by the wishbone bolts but all seems straightforward from what you sat. Freelander 2 TD4 HSE 2010

You need to replace the rubber bushes the correct way round, it helps tp rub or spray some silicone to make then more manageable
