I’ve the Meridian 380W system. I’m thinking about doing a partial upgrade to the Meridian 825W, because I don’t really need the extra speakers like the D-pillar ones and so on. A good stereo setup is enough for me.
So my question is: if I only swap the amp to improve sound quality, will it actually work?
If not, what’s the minimum number of components I’d need to replace/add?
As for doors’ midrange speakers, I noticed in documentation they don’t seem any better than the ones I already have.


Aftermarket 3rd-party amps would also be fine for me, as long as they’re truly plug & play (meaning the manufacturer provides the wiring harness). But I haven’t found anyone who actually makes them as Meridian 380W upgrade. MY2011 TD4 S Manual
