Does anyone know of a reliable Land Rover garage anywhere in the Mayenne or surrounding area of France? Doesn't need to be a 100% specialist, just someone you'd rely on with your Land Rover.

I suppose I'm more surprised than I thought I might be, as I know 8 people in this area with Land Rovers, 4 of which have Freelanders. They are all perplexed too and try to do as much DIY as they can. Life is an uphill struggle. Only the gradient varies.

Nationwide in France there are very few Landrovers……more Evoques then anything else…..
You are doing well in the Mayenne to have 8 LR’s & as many as 4 Freelanders……!
Here in the Corbières Series LandRovers are reasonably common……thé Pompiers use them a lot but Freelanders …..hardly ever see a Series 2 FL2……even though they are great for going off-road & have a version of the well known Peugeot /Ford engine powering them they are rare as thé proverbial hen’s teeth.
The most common LR in these parts is the Evoque……a friend of a friend was selling a mint Evoque 2017 three years ago……I was interested, but then I researched the Ingenium engine & it’s potentiel problems……!
Interesting to note that used car prices in France are way higher than UK……but new cars can be cheaper.
When I had problems with our FL2 last year……turbo hose etc…..well documented…wife wanted to dump FL2…..looked at Duster…..so common here….no probs getting repairs done…..good prices new as well……but FL2 running great so will wait & see……….. FL2 SD4 HSE Lux Auto MY 2012— current
