FREELANDER 2 CONSTANT BATTERY DRAIN

I am experiencing severe battery drain when the LR is parked for more than 2 days - I have to use the manual key to unlock if the car is locked. The drain happens whether the car is locked or unlocked and whether the lights are switched off, or left in "AUTO ON". The battery was changed in January 2025 and the problem started 6 months later in winter. 3 Battery changes later (Battery under 2 year warranty and the correct rating for FL 2) - the problem continues. The auto electricians claimed it was a tracker which was removed, on sending it back and having it for 10 days they showed me that the drain was 0.02 ????
The problem continued so I have bought a smart charger. The RH paasenger door locked failed in March and now the LH passenegr failed about a week ago. In frustration (2 x auto electricians later) I have decided to record the voltage daily 2 days ago, with the car parked in different modes - way too early to show anything yet. Any advice will be most welcome.

Your avitar doesn't say which year your car is. There was a big change with the most recent version.

The earlier models the accessory 12v sockets were powered all the time & leaving something plugged in will drain the battery. The most recent model the 12v sockets switch off after about 2 minutes.

There isn't one of those stupid electronic anti rust devices always on. LR tried to flog me one when we bought our MY13. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!
