United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Indus Silver
Headlamp washer problem

Hi all new here with my first FL2 but 26th Landrover

SII, SIIA, SIII, Forward control, Air portable FL1, Range Rover, Range Rover P38, L322, Disco 1, 90, 110 over the last 41 years.

So no dramas with the FL2, 2013 Indus silver, Almond leather, cold weather pack, roof bars.

Just an annoyance......the left hand headlamp washer is disconnected inside the bumper somewhere....I get a pool of water but nothing from the jets. I've had headlamp off and got the jet off but it has pipe attached and doesn't seem to be loose.....can't pull it free it seems attached to something.

Does anyone know the exact route the pipe takes from the washer across the front of the car to the left jet and are there any joins or non return valves.

The LR parts schematic is vague and shows something in the tube at the left hand end...but no description or code so not sure what it is?

The pipe disappears from the jet into the bodywork and that's where the water is coming out

Anyone got any ideas

Thanks

Dave
