I think I don't have a DPF?

Hey everyone,

Doing my first oil change on my 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 S. My manual says to use WSS-M2C913-B 5W30 oil.

However, I've been told my car should have a DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) and need a low-SAPS WSS-M2C934-B oil so 5W30 C1.

Here's the problem:

The Motul oil selection tool and the Land Rover technician I got on the phone say my car has a DPF.

BUT when I look under the car, I can't see a DPF.

So, do you lovely experts see a DPF or not? Laughing Which oil should I use?

I've attached a picture. Any help is appreciated!

Thanks.

You do not have a DPF, only fitted to vehicles from 2010.

You should be able to tell by your VIN number... Smile

Thanks everyone, that's what the VIN told me too! But I got confused after seeing the Motul tool and talking to my french LR dealer. I even emailed a British specialist who told me I didn't have one. Next time, I'll know the easiest thing is to just look under the car. Laughing

Cheers
