The quality of buit struts is questionable, I built my rear struts with parts from AF and look like thats what I will be doing. |

If they are available in UK I can recommend KROSNO struts made in Poland. Good quality and will probably last longer than the originals. Cost me around £25 pair. driving on the right side |

You are referring to gas struts as in tail gate or bonnet struts, my question is about suspension struts 👍 |

Decent quality or branded complete struts don’t seem to exist, I will build a pair as I did with the rear parts from Advanced Factors. |

Do the bilsteins fit 2014 models? autodoc say 2006 - 2014 but they changed in 2013 due to EPB I understand. |

I can’t give you a definitive answer on that but I cannot see what the EPB has to do with the strut. |

I have the Bilstein B4 on my 2014 SD4 with EPB. https://www.autodoc.co.uk/bilstein/9266824 But they've gone up a lot in 2 years - I paid only £76 each inc delivery Jules |

The rear shock absorbers for the EPB models have a bracket that supports the EPB wiring.

Thats most likley the difference - I can see no reason to change the damper specification. Jules |
