Steering rack not quite right !

Evening all,
Well replaced my rack myself today with a Western one…..not too bad a job - about 4 hours of crawling around. Bled fine but upon lowering the car the toe in was terrible. So back up again and adjusted the track rod ends but ran out of adjustment and it still toes in. So, got on the phone to Western and nice gent there tells me they have probably sent me the right rack with the Volvo tie rod ends! Easily done it seems in the workshop…

Anyways, they are sending new fl2 ones which are about an inch shorter than the ones I have - but how easy are they to fit? Any special tools needed.

I can’t say I’m looking forward to more scrabbling around!
Cheers
Pete 182k miles from new!
