Will this be ok to drive?

2010MY TD4,99k miles
Today coming home, thought I heard an additional noise when accelerating, but unsure….
Tried a couple more hard acceleration, yep, definitely a rustling sound, think tree leaves on a windy day.
Pondering what this could be on the way home, dual carriageway, 70 ish, engine light pops up to say hello!
Solid, not flashing, so eased off until nearest safe spot and stopped.
Alway have ODB handy, an AP200, nothing obvious or engine related (usual door stuff etc)
Restarted fine, engine light remains on, but no rustle when revving, this only happens when under load.
Drove home listening carefully, feeling for any changes in performance.
No loss of power at all, still pulls like the train, accelerating still great when in foot to floor mode, on to M Way, no issues maintaining a speed of 70 ish, with a large helping of ish!

So, searched the forum..as usual a multidimensional array of answers and possible’s, some sifting and….

Either one hose or another, or turbo bearing…..if the former, ok, I’ll get my card, if the latter I’ll likely have some FL2 stuff to sell.

But….I need to drive the car for around another 400 miles over Wednesday and Thursday, mainly motorway and dual carriageway…..

Safe to drive? Or a small problem about to be come a big one if I did?

Advice please….

Thanks I have a cunning plan.....!
