Do I Dab(le) further or leave well alone…..

Hi Oh Wise Ones Bow down
Read around, searched, but cannot find a right answer…..
MY2010, standard TD4 GS, Apline branded stereo head unit exactly as shown below…

But despite saying digital on the unit it does not have DAB functionality just another set of FM.
I find a bit confusing as it has this unit on the left hand side of the screen, which I thought was a DAB antenna….

But I’m also aware that I don’t have the sharks fin on the roof.

So, I have no DAB, but I seem to have a DAB antenna….

About to pull the trigger on an Xtrons (now they are a reasonable £135), and need to find out if I need to buy their DAB plug in unit and antenna, or just the plug in unit…..

Any thoughts? I have a cunning plan.....!

Looks like some kind of aftermarket addition. The standard dab antenna is the element in the left hand rear window. The element on the right is the standard radio antenna. There is a stud at the bottom that would connect the receiver.
