I managed to buy a hose from GW Motors in Atherstone this Sat morning and fitted it. The jubilee clip at the intercooler end is a PITA - hidden under pipes and the fans.
Then got the regen done this afternoon.
All sorted now.

£66 for the hose set and a jar of honey and jam for the regen.

Thumbs Up Jules

A MAP correlation error is always a boost system leak.

It's about the right miles for DPF faults to show up too, especially on short distance cars. DPFs like to be kept clean with a good couple of hours drive at motorway speeds. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car.

@Jules: perhaps T/c hose clip split allowing hose to pop off….? Is clip still there intact ?
Could be that hose came off….triggering DTCs & Reduced Performance………with no boost at all
Performance would be reduced….!!!! If the DPF was blocked first….the turbo wouldn’t work since exhaust gases couldn’t escape….lots of pressure in exhaust manifold…..nothing in the way pressure on inlet.
So it’s bumper off to replace hose…..Bobupandown I think did a post showing link to EBay to replace all hoses with silicone…good idea…..

The original jubileee clip at the IC was intact. I note it has a little clamp that holds it in place on the hose as its very awkward to fit.
However I managed to replace the hose without dismantling any of the car apart from the undertray.
I used a 7mm socket on a micro ratchet going in horizontally from above.

Interestingly if the hose hadnt blown off I dont think I would have been able to undo the OEM jubilee as the original angle would have been very awkward to get at.
There is a plastic ring support in the middle of the hose. The screw holding the clip to the body is pretty much impossible to get at, but I managed to pass the hoses through it, so the left the original clip in place. Jules

Well done Jules….! You did well to change that hose without having to remove bumper….

It helps having the right tools for the job….but I know that often when the cars are put together on

the production line they don’t consider someone having to repair /replace things.

You can now relax & go on holiday…… FL2 SD4 HSE Lux Auto MY 2012— current

My Autel AP200 gives its distance from last DPF regen in metres, not kilometres or miles so I have to do a google to convert that into miles. I just looked and it’s 605,000 odd metres or 376 miles since my last regen.

This is an excellent video showing the DPF cycle and regen. using live data from a GAP IID tool.

I noticed that with my AP200…….thought it seemed a long way…..in metres…..I put details on à post…but as often I can’t remember which post………hard to find afterwards…….a great bit of kit though….ok not as comprehensive as the Snap-On Solus…….but for single vehicle use from time to time thé AP200 at around £60 is a great buy against about £3000 for the Snap-On……….great bit of kit for day in day out professional use……will pay for itself in no time……….but the AP200 is great to have in car to use when necessary….mine fits in the little roller-shutter container between the seats….. FL2 SD4 HSE Lux Auto MY 2012— current
