CON - Its designed to make your diesel less polluting.
CON - Later models wont accept a simple blanking off - hence the the blanking plate with a hole ! Whether that can be avoided with software manipulation I dont know. Jules

It’s funny all the systems to make it less polluting, then you take it out and give it a good thrashing to clean it out burning more diesel. Same as brakes driving gently all year then at mot time do lots of hard braking to clean the brake discs up.
