EGR to Exhaust gasket

I cannot for the life of me recall if there is a gasket between the egr and exhaust where one fits the blanking plate. I am going to remove the blanking plate and as I say cannot recall if there is a gasket normally there. If there is does anyone have the part number?

It depends upon your VIN.

Thanks for the link to the diagrams. Though I must admit I cannot see a gasket on either VIN group. Mine is an up to AH999999

Have now come to the conclusion the maf is faulty, as cleaned it still get black smoke if connected. If I disconnect it no black smoke.
Now about this calibration supposedly needed after a maf change can one do it oneself with the correct bit of gear?
If so what is the correct bit of gear?

I was thinking of the metal "exhaust manifold to EGR cooler gasket" on the BH000001 onwards vehicles. Its 9H454 in the diagram -part number LR022515

Its got spring clips to hold it in place which are invaluable - believe me. Jules

Ah yes but mine is AH181447 which as far as my memory, albeit flaggin, I cannot recall any sort of gasket nut could not be 100% certain. I do find it a bit strange that she drives fine with the maf disconnected. No EML though obviously error codes are logged relating to air intake temp amd air flow, not surprisingly with the maf disconnected.
