United Kingdom 2012 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Stornoway Grey
Clutch pedal starter inhibitor switch (LR003563) location

Hi all

So the starter inhibitor switch has given up on my 2012 HSE with stop/start... Meaning the stop/start function is no longer working.
The inactive switch has been confirmed with diagnostics.. So I have a new one ready to fit, only I can't find any information on where the switch is actually located.

Logic suggests it would be mounted somewhere on the clutch pedal assembly, but all images I've seen online shows no indication of its location on the assembly, and neither can I see where it would be on the assembly with the limited access/visibility under the footwell.

Has anyone ever replaced this switch, or could point in the right direction of the location of it?

Photo added for reference of switch..

Many thanks
Greg Douglas-Thorne
