engine oil cooler and transmission oil cooler

1. Is there any specific interval to replace engine oil cooler and transmission oil cooler on LR2 2008 i6 HSE?
2. Shall it failed, the coolant system will mixed with hot oil and will be a chocolate milk shake, if that happen, shall we flush the coolant system only or also engine/transmission oil needs to be drained and flush?

One would have to do the lot, preferably before the engine seizes, and so will the auto box. The Discovery 2 Oil Cooler fails often, and it is not good for engine and gearbox. There is no service requirement to change the oil coolers in the Manual that I can see.
