I spoke too soon... After saying my car's Cruise Control has run error free for 7 months - got back to the UK yesterday (car had stood for 1 week) and first trip out - no Cruise Control... Big Cry

Second trip, Cruise Control working again!... Twisted Evil

So, I plugged in my iCarSoftV3 OBD reader & it came back with this in the history...

Not a recommendation for the iCarsoft - but it shows the sort of info you should be able to get using an ODB reader. From the above, the error is C2003-49. Which means C=chassis, 2003=Land Rover Specific, steering wheel left switch module, 49 is error type 49 - System internal failure - internal electronic failure.

You can look these & other Land Rover codes up here:-

So mine is still pointing to a faulty left switch module, but because it is not "properly broken", I'm not going to investigate further... Very Happy

That’s interesting about the module. In fact I knew it must be the steering wheel switch as everything else was ruled out. So I bought both switch sets either side of the steering wheel and it all works perfectly now.

So thanks everyone for giving advice, it’s nice having it all back to normal now!
