How about looking at the sensor(s) on the accelerator pedal. If the output from them is incorrect it doesn’t matter what other parts you are swapping out. |

I have the same problem and living on a blind bend it is risky. There are no fault codes so any advice for both of us would be appreciated. 😀 |

Are you talking about a pause of a second or two while the FL2 makes up its mind what gear you want and the engine/turbo ramps up power?

The lag seems to be slower than normal and when you boot it the acceleration is not there compared to what it should be, on one occassion foot to the floor and nothing and then power but not full power.

Could be a split turbo hose or sticking turbo vanes/actuator .

just had gear box flushed so not old oil, in command shift it's fine just happens in full auto. will look at turbo hoses / actuator just in case - just have to rough it in the range rover for now ![]() for info pulling out at a junction you plant your foot and the engine just says "No" no revs and very very slow movement (if it were a manual it would be akin to trying to pull away in 3rd/4th) Range Rover L322 (the current posh one) Discovery 2 (just gone) Discovery 1 (long gone) |

That's pretty much what i'm doing as well, but i'm hoping there is a longer term solution as i can't believe that whoever on behalf of JLR designed a automatic gearbox or engine with this issue didn't pick this up, especially as it seems common in some form or other.

I would love to try that but my command shift does not work, not sure why but on full auto all works 😭 |
