While we are on the air system topic, Anyone know if there is a fix/pn for airbox filter screw? 1 of the front screws (inboard) is not tightening up

Sorry can't help with the hose

One fix for the air filer screws is to put the tails of cable clips in the screw holes as fillers

Yeah its a good fix- fold it in half - push the bend bit into the hole and it acts like a Rawlplug but smaller Jules

Well a 15min job Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter someone is having a laugh!
My left hand could really do very little as the space was so cramped. My RH just 13 days after hand surgery and stitches still in Rolling Eyes was not much better. Bottom clip was OK but releasing the upper clip was soul destroying as I could not see it and my illuminated mirror was not much help either. Once it was out, pretty obvious a large split!

What a complete Censored struggled with the £10 Ama£on next day delivery hose it just wouldn't go on.
In the end had to go local to JSF 4x4 for the correct hose £62! but at least it fitted. I learnt my lesson cheapest is not bestest! Well at least the £10 hose can be returned as not fit for purpose.
Got there in the end but took all afternoon Big Cry
Test drive was satisfaction up to 70mph as quick as it could touching 4000 revs job done!
A welcome beer and huge smile of satisfaction!

@Kot :

I think this is the same hose that I had trouble with last October…..connects to throttle housing/ inlet manifold….then to a plastic pipe that goes to the intercooler. I had the same DTC on my AP200 , checked the hoses / connections…..all ok , no oil leaks, no whistle so I sent for new OE MAF & MAP sensors. Fitted MAF first…..easy except car ran worse…..faulty sensor. Changed MAP…..slightly better but still Restricted Performance’. After suggestions on this forum I double-checked this hose…..found slight split…..
Sent for new Gates part….was really tough material….easy to fit in T/housing but difficult on the unsecured plastic hose……once on ok……been great since.
This must be the most common fault on the FL2……a bit of oil & exhaust gas from EGR connection degrades thé rubber……when I wanted to buy a new one thousands had been sold on EBay.
There are lots of posts on this forum concerning this but hard to find them. You did well to ‘sus’it out & repair so quickly, especially with your wrist problem.
