United Kingdom 2014 Freelander 2 SD4 Metropolis LE Auto Fuji White

Each and every lamp on the FL2 is controlled separately by a FET (Field Effect Transistor) which will remove the power to any dodgy lamp and/or cct. (forget any ancient directly wired from switch solutions)

Have a look at these posts to see if any matches your symptoms.

If all else fails try Hard Reset

FL2 Metropolis SD4 Auto 2014 2017- (16k - 79k+ miles) (MY2015)
Metro in its 11th Year of (Extended) LR Warranty / Full LR Service History
(Expensive, but Trouble/Worry free - hopefully?)

belts and braces approach.

Replaced main light control unit in car, new front fog lamp bulbs, and rear fog lamp bulbs, new fuse.

And everything seems to be working fine now .
