After 16 years I can't wait any longer

Freel2 readers,

I realize that most of you have replaced this already (due to the failure of the switch)

But I live in a much drier climate and mine never failed.

I do realize that after 16 years I am living on borrowed time.

For reference I bought my LR2 on March 15 2008 and someday when it becomes unreliable I am selling!!!!

The important part (the pictures)

The old part next to the bag for the new one just in case anyone wants to know the part number.

For anyone that reads this and want to know how to do it I used these video's to guide me thru.

The only difference I had is the metal clips stayed with the plastic panel instead of with the hatch as shown in the video.

I put them back where they belong and all is good now.

I did keep the old part just in case the new one fails.

PS I did break one of the plastic parts but a bit of epoxy patched it up nicely.
