Finally got round to sorting this but thought some info and part numbers may be useful to others.

Tailgate dead . Won't work on dashboard switch not fobs. No noise no clicking just dead. Not fuel cap either. In dahboard it say tailgate open. Latch and switch is new.

I bought a new one from Britpart to swap the old one out but by the time I got round to doing the job, normal service had been resumed with the existing one.

Have you tried to see that 12v is definitely available at F25 as that seems to be the last common point in the power system. From there they go to separate relays and operating signals. Have you downloaded the Repair Manual and Wiring Diagrams https://www.freel2.com/forum/topic10621.html FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011) FL2 Metropolis SD4 Auto 2014 2017- (16k - 85k+ miles) (MY2015) Metro in its 12th Year of (Extended) LR Warranty / Full LR Service History (Expensive, but Trouble/Worry free - hopefully?) | ||
