Puncture !

Had my FL2 for 6 weeks and got a puncture last weekend, in the side wall so they said it could not be repaired (joy)

The fun and games involved in getting a new tyre still amazes me ,none of my local tyre centres keep Goodyear wrangler in stock (18”) and the local dealers didn’t have a single one in stock(there answer was “we have not got any in because the vehicle is so new we aren’t expecting any need for changing any yet”) !!!

In the end I had one driven up from Sussex? The cost £150.00

would the tyre off the spare wheel have fitted ? I know the wheels are different, but thought the tyres were the same - at least this would buy enough time to source one in the future.

Strange.
Don't FL2 tyres fit any other cars?

Yes Freelander1 was available with 18" wheels shod with Goodyear wrangler HP's and the FFRR also has 18" Warngler HP's so it's odd that the dealer didn't have any! How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?
Now driving - RRE Coupe Dynamic Lux Auto with Plus pack, Fuji White, Ebony, SD4 with tow pack
Gone - 2010MY FFRR TDv8 Stornoway and Ivory, Privacy - the pace of a TDv8 RRS, the incomparable grace of a Range Rover
Gone but will be missed- RRS Tdv8 HSE Stornoway Grey with Ebony Leather
Gone (only a little missed) RRS Tdv6 2.7SE Giverny Green/Aspen
Defender 90 County HT in Epsom Green

Ive had this problem, wrote off a Michelin Latitude 17" tyre, luckily I ordered a full size alloy spare. Couldn't get another michelin, all the local tyre dealers had to go on Michelins website to see what it was, so got a Goodyear wrangler instead, which everyone seemed to have. At least I had a working spare the same day!!
