Hello everyone,

Really in need of some diagnostic help. I have the following issues:
• Constant unidentified odor inside my Land Rover Freelander 2, noticeable even when the car is not in use.
• The smell grows stronger when starting the engine and using the air conditioning.
• Alongside the odor, there’s visible smoke coming from the engine bay during and after high-speed drives.
• The car was left unused for a month, but the odor was still strong upon return.

Would appreciate any advice on diagnosing and fixing these issues. Thank you!

what sort of smell, damp, anti freeze, diesel, exhaust fumes ????

That’s the downfall. I’m not too good with smells! Was hoping the location of the smoke might help but to be honest I know nothing about this.

Looks like the PCV valve area.

I'd agree. It's probably the PCV seal not sealing, or maybe the LVC pipe isn't connected at all. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car.
