Bluetooth fuse removal

Hi I have removed Bluetooth fuse to check battery drain seems to cure problem but it also turns off stereo power is there a way to get power back on main stereo without refitting fuse cheers

Replace the fuse. The battery draining is normally due to a call being taken on the phone via the Bluetooth system being carried on on the phone after you’ve shut down the engine and locked the car. The link to the phone keeps the Bluetooth module alive in the car and the battery drains.

Have took battery of car numerous times and do not use Bluetooth in car so would be happy just to bypass Bluetooth module altogether if it’s possible

You would need to install a feedback MOST loop. Search the forum for a thread by p_gill on bypassing the bluetooth module. I have also done this using his lead.

You can buy a MOST loop adapter which can be used to link out the BT module. Once the MOST is looped out, the power plug on the BT module can be pulled, removing it from the electrical system. 2009 Rimini Red SE TD4. Soon to be sold.
