Mis-fueling device

Hi, can anyone give me the dimensions of the yellow tool thing? My freelander didn’t come with one and the fuel flap is down making it very hard to fill with fuel without the pump cutting out automatically

I also made one up out of a suitable piece of plastic. It worked very well but realised I had to be careful it didn't fall in the tube. I like the coat hanger idea since you can bend the end over to prevent this.

Since bought a proper one, it lives in the glove box
