Removing Panel under Steering Column?

Hi
Any advice on the removal of the panel under the steering column (containing the light switch module and knee airbag cover) would be appreciated.
Does it just require a strong pull in a horizontal (towards driver) or vertical direction (downwards to feet), or are there any bolts/screws to be removed first? Which side is the best to start on if one needs to use screwdriver etc to wedge it away?
Would removal of the panel disturb the knee airbag?
Need to remove it to reposition aftermarket front parking sensor on/off switch.

There are 4 screws that are holding it in place.
Two on the lower part (vertical orientation) and two below steering wheel (angled orientation).
Steering wheel needs to be raised in the most upward position to see them.
Then, you pull the panel out. It is hold in place by some clips (6 from what I am remembering), but a little bit of force will do the trick.

Also, you should be careful pulling the panel cause the cable for the lights switch is rather short.

Thank you gentlemen. A while ago but just about to try and replace the cruise control deactivate switch. I have the workshop manual but was not that clear where the screws are. Thank you for this old post.
