Acc pedal calibration

Hi,

How do I reset acceleration pedal position sensor ? It shows 65% fully released ? Thanks

Hi bomeo,
Try this:
1. Insert key fob in the dash
2. Turn on the ignition by pressing the start button WITHOUT foot on the brake (I.e. Don't start the engine)
3. Press the accelerator to the floor for 30 seconds
4. Release the accelerator pedal leave the key in the dash, and press the start button to switch off ignition...wait 30 seconds.

If that doesn't work, disconnect the battery for 10 minutes. -------------------------------------------------------------

Does the engine function correctly?
There are 2 position sensors in the pedal, one low at rest, one high at rest. The ECM knows both readings, and knows how to interpret what the pedal is doing. 2009 Rimini Red SE TD4. Soon to be sold.
