[Wanted] Wanted - facelift drivers side rear light cluster f

I've managed to crack the drivers side rear light cluster on my 64 plate metropolis and have been quoted £325 for a new one by my local land rover dealer. 😕

Don't suppose anyones got one or know where I can source one cheaper? I've tried the bay but can't find any the correct spec (led).

Any help would be appreciated.😍

Cheers

There was a spate of rear lights being stolen a while ago, as it seems they are pretty easy to remove from a locked and alarmed vehicle. I would suspect most for sale on various public websites will fall in to this category, unless advertised by a reputable vendor.
Good luck with your search. Thumbs Up

Found this one in France so may have some import charges if it's picked up by customs

But a hell of a lot cheaper at £200 ish.

That was quite a while back - I think there is/was a video (on here?) showing how easy it was to remove them and more importantly, how easy it was to secure your lights against unauthorised removal.

E.T.A… video found here… https://www.freel2.com/forum/topic37095.ht...t+clusters

When I got my first FL2 shortly after the facelift appeared, we were all into DIY facelifts - new bumper/grille assemblies, new tailgate handles, LED rear clusters and even DRL headlights (with sig strip if you got lucky).

I did the rear light conversion to the LED clusters and bought a set of shiny new DRL headlghts… the headlights proved too complex (making up the conversion harnesses*) and were eventually sold on. The rear clusters were reverted to the originals and the LED pair sold on when the car was traded in.

All seems a long time ago now Very Happy Thumbs Up Very Happy

*Eventually, a company started selling conversion harnesses but I seem to recall a problem with the way the DRLs were handled in respect of indicators/headlights.
