Have you checked the short turbo feed pipe, the one that goes from plastic to turbo |

Yes chips tried that, but didn’t remove it, just a really good feel for rips or oil, it was very clean. Might have to bite the bullet and remove it for a better look. Though I’m looking for an independant LR specialist who can smoke test. |

It does also list a blockage or leakage in the induction + boost systems, but if they've been checked, that only leaves a wiring issue to either sensor now... |

Yes, checked all of that, there’s a worrying amount of soot being produced in lump mode, so I’m fearing an internal issue, injectors or valves - but would these raise another fault code? Freelander 1 3.2
