LAUNCH UK mobile auto gearbox service

Has anyone any experience of getting an auto gearbox service, i.e. flush and refill, not just a dump, done using the LAUNCH UK machine - https://www.launchtech.co.uk/atf-machine/

Is there any substance to the view that one shouldn’t go for a flush and refill as doing so will loosen crud that may have gathered in awkward corners which will then get into the passages in the gearbox and cause blockage problems?

Why? What will that tell me about using a service that uses the LAUNCH UK equipment?

Ive read that too somewhere. I guess its because they user a cleaner before adding the ATF, unlike just adding ATF. Jules

I've flushed hundreds of gearboxes, and never had an issue

A flush should be seen as a service procedure, and not a magic fix to cure a problem Thumbs Up

Same sort of thing, I guess. Any experience of it?

When doing a flush, one of the benefits is that it’s done via the hoses, so no draining necessary and presumably no removal of the undertray. So how is the correct fluid level determined when there’s no access to the level plug? Or do you still have to remove the undertray in order to get at it?
