As I've said before gearboxes are common to many cars and makes, it really depends on who wants to trash a car's or manufacturer's reputation, the other point is that volume production alters the percentages so a car with high production fitted with a low number of auto boxes sold becomes apparently more reliable, most LR's have a high percentage of auto boxes. my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

While you may see the exact same components used in 2, 3, 4 different makes, they are *not* necessarily the same in quality.

No, filters are expressly forbidden from this quality management approach. It's article 47b of the Zygon Treaty. Current driveway contents:
