Bumped in to Ruth on Corporation Street in Birmingham back around 1989. I just came out of a newsagents and there she was looking in the window of the next shop along. Literally bumped right in to her . I recognised her straight away and must have stood there opened mouthed and pointing as she looked back at me. I didn't say anything, but she smiled back, knowing I'd recognised her and I smiled back at her. I had a big grin on my face as I walked away. I've met lots of my heroes (International Rock Stars) and never ever felt star struck. But Ruth somehow brought that emotion out of me. |

My neighbour was at a bus stop back in the day, stood waiting for a bus next to the Fun Boy Three and was asked which member he was. He told us that story many times over the years ! |
