Radio cd upgrade

Ok, I would like to upgrade from the basic radio cd https://www.freel2.com/gallery/albums/user...1325.jpgto the premium one https://www.freel2.com/gallery/albums/user...0_n.jpg(if I say right). Should I change only the fascia or it has to be with the amplifier? If together with the amplifier, is plug and play? I mean the back connections are the same for both radio cd's? Sorry for my poor english and I hope that you understand what I mean.

Your links to images aren't working.
Do you mean you want to upgrade from the stereo on right to that on left?
If so I'm not sure its feasible to do so.

His pictures above.

One system (old one) is a stand-alone one with the amplifier inside the unit, the other (desired) one is based on an optical network, with the amplifier in the trunk.
Not so easy to convert/install...

No not easy to upgrade the factory stereo.
However it's very easy to upgrade to a modern double DIN aftermarket stereo, as there's little on the vehicle to get upset. Thumbs Up 2009 Rimini Red SE TD4. Soon to be sold.
