Worn fuel supply hose leaking diesel

Hello,

I noticed diesel on the drive and on further inspection I’ve found the fuel supply hose has become unclipped and subsequently rubbed against the auxiliary belt. This has worn through enough to leak diesel. Any ideas on how to fix this? I’m struggling to find replacement hoses online. Or does anyone have a temporary fix to get it to the garage?

Thanks in advance!

Can you not just replace it with generic diesel fuel line and a couple of connectors. Now at the point when I learn something new something old is lost out the other side !
Now retired so it doesn't matter anymore.
Freelander now gone.

Thank I’ll look at getting some general hose. This is where it is worn, any ideas on what specification the fuel supply hose is it I need to get?

or if its easier, cut a small piece out (use that to gauge the insert size),and join it with an insert /tube with hose clips.

Use Nitrile Rubber pipe. I would cut the offending section out as advised, and use a piece of Bundy tube. I use Jaguar XJ40 steering cooler pipe as I have plenty on the shelf.

That doesn't seem to be the correct route for the fuel lines. Mine is nowhere near the crank pulley, so can't touch it. 2009 Rimini Red SE TD4. My daily driver.

Hi folks, the diesel hose on my FL2 has done exactly the same thing. The upper retaining clip's barbs failed and it popped out of place. The hose then rubbed through on the aux belt. There are two hoses together and its the larger diameter one that has failed. Did anyone find a part number and/or supplier for this hose please?

Is this the part you need? Marked as 9L291A in the drawing.

Many thanks for your reply. Yes I think that's got to be it. On the car the hose seems to be in two sections joined by a double ended hose barb which sits just forward of the jacking point, behind the osf wheel. However, in your picture it looks abit like its in one length, though it would be near impossible to fit as one piece. Please could you clarify your parts catalogue shows it in two pieces?

Thanks.
