Shame, he was probably the first to have that issue,
with a bit of diligence he might have found a solution to a
problem others may enquire about in the future. Rolling Eyes DAVE.

Pretty tame as far as flouncing off in a huff goes.

Must be one of the shortest memberships too - joined September 1st, flounced less than a week later.

Oh well that’s disappointing but there you go good luck with the wipers.

People tried to answer to his (ONLY) questions/requests and he is still unsatisfied.
I would have understand if he contributed with something and only then to make such affirmations...
In this perspective, on the same note, I would say:

A little premature in his rebuff of the forum, after all not everybody logs in on a daily or weekly basis.
So the person with the answer may still be out there.

Personnaly I feel it is probably a realatively easy fix.

But I'm not now going to disclose what I think the problem is, as he is bound to have a peek back in?

From what I read, the problem only occurred after he changed the wiper motor. So I think that he needs to investigate that he followed the correct procedure when he changed it.
I think that we are going to to face more of this kind of problem as cars become more (electronically) complicated.

I first realised that I did not have full control of the physical set up of my cars in the late 1980s, my BMC Montego seemingly would not let me adjust the tickover. I then realised it had a stepper motor in the mechanism, that readjusted it back to the factory setting.

I am sorry to sound so harsh, but I spent some 40 years sorting out electro-mechanical, electronic, computing systems, and have wasted hours, if not days, investigating problems caused by people meddling. Often this would involve going back to checking all the factory settings, both in the hardware and software, and rebuilding the system. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)

I was watching some Mathewson's videos on YouTube yesterday there’s a red MG Montego coming up I think it looked better than when it came out of the factory that may or may not have been on strike.
