Freelander-2 'XS' 2007 (Tambora Flame) - Upgrades

Hi guy's and gal's.
Just thought I'd a share a pic of some recent upgrades that I've carried out to my 2007 FL2 Tambora Flame - including Rear lights upgrade, and 'Face-lift' model rear tailgate handle replacement. I'm quite pleased with the results.

I want to add a tow-bar now - just need to do some research first though as it seems there's are number of 'after-market' options. Has anybody got any recommendations?

I’m very pleased with my Witter detachable tow bar and dedicated wiring, both of which I got from P F Jones. The wiring just plugs into the existing loom but needs the trailer module added in software to switch off the rear parking sensors when reversing. But everything else, including the trailer warning symbol on the dash, works perfectly. Try searching the Forum for more detailed information.

You need to add the pic to your post.

I went the other way on my rear hatch (Black Letters instead of Chrome handle)

And I upgraded my wheels to some XC Volvo Wheels and there is another upgrade in this picture see if you can find it.

I don't know if you have the leather interior but if you do then you can consider this upgrade to protect the rear seat when it is folded

Also you should upgrade your rear differential drain plug to one with a magnet to collect steel dust

Good luck
