As a biker of 40yrs I have to say that unfortunaely there are a few motorcycle riders (I'd call them scallies rather than bikers) and they spoil the image for the majority.

If you look in the 1st pic for example there is probably 50% in balaclavas so you can guarentee they're all under age on stolen bikes.
The other 50% are probably ex scallies that now want to look legal.

I can assure you, they are disliked by the true bikers, as much as they are by any one else.

If it wasn't for the fact that I would probably be the one prossecuted and not little Johny who has always been the nicest lad you could ever want to meet, I'd love to stick a brush stale through their spokes!

With regards to horses, myself and the guy's I ride with, give as wide a birth as possible and pass at crawl.
Even stopping and turning off if we feel the circumstances deem it neccarsary.

Agree with the statement above, I doubt even those wearing helmets are even road legal. we have the same issues here in London with Censored 's on scooters. In fact I was walking into my local park with my two Border Collies last week and had to challenge some Censored riding in to the entrance which is pedestrians only, unfortunately our police are too busy dealing with other issues so there is no deterrent.

Not an anti biker either, been riding since I was 16 and just turned 63. Still riding and currently have a Triumph Sprint GT 1050cc. 2007 TD4 XS The work horse that earns its up keep
2013 SD4 HSE The posh one for towing the caravan
1973 Triumph Stag I bought in 2009 and restored.

My only consolation would be that many of them will go one step too far and end up dead or seriously injured. Being a loon on two wheels usually ends in a lot of pain, doing it wearing a balaclava for head protection tends to end badly.

Yes their families will be upset when their loved ones are injured - puncture their tyres / disable the bikes if you value their lives.

Hardly anti-motorbike as I purchased my latest one only 10 days ago, just anti Censored Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her
Replaced by Ewok what a mistake - now a happy Disco Sport owner

same here on the semi rural road i live on, plagues of undoubtedly illegal bikers (2 & 4 wheels) ragging up and down the road. Its a dead end road but is a cut through for bikes. Reported to the police but no action taken as we cant predict when they will be out and about.

Make your own stinger and put it across the cut through.doesn't have to be down all the time, just when you know they're out playing!

AND of course, you didn't make it, did you?

Or, it's not a stinger, it's an old matress off your bed of nails!
